Online Counselling
Life can be complicated, and finding time for yourself isn’t always easy.
Online counselling offers a flexible, accessible way to find support, whether you’re navigating a difficult period, adjusting to change, exploring patterns in your relationships or simply wanting to understand yourself better.
At Sunshine Coast Holistic Therapy, I offer individual, trauma-informed online counselling for adults across Australia. Our sessions are tailored to your needs, combining thoughtful exploration with practical strategies to help you move towards the life you want to live.

Areas I Can Support You With
People come to counselling for many different reasons. Whether you’re facing a particular challenge, navigating change or wanting to understand yourself more deeply, we can explore what matters to you and find a way forward together.
My areas of focus include:
- Relationships, boundaries and emotional abuse recovery — exploring relationship patterns, rebuilding self-trust, navigating difficult dynamics and recovering from experiences including narcissistic abuse.
- Neurodivergence in adults, particularly women — including ADHD, autism, masking, identity and the challenges of navigating a world that doesn’t always accommodate different ways of thinking and being.
- Anxiety, stress, burnout and emotional overwhelm — understanding the patterns and pressures contributing to how you’re feeling, developing practical strategies and finding more sustainable ways forward.contributing to exhaustion and finding more sustainable ways forward.
- Trauma and nervous system regulation — exploring the impact of difficult experiences and developing greater awareness, safety and choice.
- Grief and loss — making space for bereavement, relationship endings, ambiguous loss and the many forms grief can take.
- Life transitions and personal growth — navigating changing relationships, parenting, identity and new chapters of life.”
What to Expect from Online Counselling
Online counselling offers the same opportunity for meaningful, personalised therapeutic work as meeting in person, with the added flexibility of connecting from a space that feels comfortable and convenient for you.
Sessions are one-to-one and guided by your individual needs and goals. Some people come looking for practical strategies to manage a particular challenge, while others want space to explore experiences, relationships or patterns that have shaped their lives. Often, it’s a combination of both.
We work collaboratively, at a pace that feels right for you, drawing on approaches that suit your circumstances rather than following a one-size-fits-all formula.
All you need is a private, quiet space and a reliable internet connection.
My Approach
I believe effective counselling begins with understanding the individual, rather than fitting people into a particular therapeutic model.
My approach is person-centred, trauma-informed and collaborative. I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), narrative therapy, mindfulness, somatic practices and nervous system-informed work drawing on polyvagal theory.
Some people find it helpful to explore their thoughts, beliefs and patterns, developing practical strategies for change. Others benefit from working more closely with their emotional experiences and the ways stress and trauma can be experienced in the body. Often, a combination of approaches is most helpful.
There is no single right way to engage in counselling. Together, we’ll find an approach that feels comfortable, meaningful and aligned with what you want to achieve.
